除了绘画，马莉还不断写作，将自己的感受和经历变为两种呈现：画本与文本，有两只笔相互鼓励。这样的画属“中得心源”的表达，技术至上的学院训练反而不适合她，马莉用最直接的方法在画画，而我们则会从这些画中看到人性最普遍的东西——感性的逻辑与鲜活。
In addition to painting, Ma Li also writes, turning her feelings and experiences into two kinds of presentation; picture book and text, with two pens in dialogue. This kind of painting belongs to the expression of "getting the source of the heart", but this academic technique dose not suit her. Ma Li paints in the most direct way, and we will see basic human nature from these paintings perception logic and vividness.

我喜欢你艺术作品中的那种瞬间感，转瞬即逝却又定格永恒。你笔下关于花朵的一切都如此鲜活。这与法国、英国、德国、意大利的艺术家截然不同， 这是中国式的，对生活片段的感悟。

What I like in your art it is the instant instant
everything you are doing with flowers
the flowers are vivid
is very different to the French, British, German, Italian artist
and it is the Chinese reaction in part of life
you see, this is a moment of life and the moment is fixed
so when when a reader, a spectator looks your flower, your flower still moves.
You see, it still so so vivid.
And the comments I received, they said,
oh oh the violet is absolutely just splendid

The landscapes of Lilyma are very colorful. In PINK BEACH 26, a white cloud very much alive is crossing the blue sky, the waves of the ocean are responding. In the painting SOUTHERN GS TIBETAN AREA the clouds look like fishes, taking your imagination into the bright land where they come from. The rhythms of her painting are expressing the energy of nature.Her brilliantly colored canvases are in the tradition of Matisse period Fauve ("wild beast "). Her free brushwork is expressive and creates dynamic composition. The still life SPRING IMPRESSION with the red orange and rose flower is showing us where her inspiration origins: the contemplation of nature that gives her the Joy of Life. May 2024, I spend an evening in the Tuileries in Paris with Lilyma we celebrated the beauty of the garden with his flowers, trees, birds, fishes and ducks. Thanks !

Having interpreted the delicate emotions of traditional opera under spotlights and sculpted the complex folds of humanity before cameras, Lilyma Ma Li now channels a lifetime of artistic experience into visual meditation through her brush. This creator who navigates multiple dimensions of opera, film, television, fiction, and painting constructs a bridge connecting traditional aesthetics with contemporary spirit on her canvases. Here resides the rhythmic cadence of deconstructed operatic gestures, the spatial narratives translated from cinematic language, and a female artist’s profound contemplation of lived experience.
